A New Path Opens: Introducing The Traveler’s Path
Opening a new corner of the map for those who want to walk this road with me.
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the strange adventure of being an emerging indie author.
Not just the parts people see — the book launch, the excitement, the photos — but the quieter things underneath. The doubts, the small wins, the moments of “I have no idea what I’m doing,” and then the surprising sparks of clarity that only show up after you take a step you were afraid to take.
It feels a lot like being a Traveler of a different sort: walking into new, unmapped worlds without a guidebook, trusting that I’ll learn something valuable from every twist in the road.
And I’ve realized I want a space to talk about that honestly.
Not as an expert.
Not as a teacher.
Just as a person figuring this out in real time.
So today, I’m opening a new corner of this newsletter:
✨ The Traveler’s Path: An Indie Author’s Journey
This will be a twice-monthly series where I share the real, behind-the-scenes journey of learning how to build a creative life from the ground up.
Not the polished version.
Not the social-media version.
The true one.
It will hold:
reflections
experiments
moments of uncertainty
small victories
unexpected fails (and how to move through)
lessons I didn’t expect to learn
thoughts I don’t post publicly
These are field notes from my life as an indie author. Not instructions, not advice.
Just the path as I walk it.
What stays the same?
Writing Worlds remains free. Nothing about that changes.
What’s new?
The Traveler’s Path will be available to paid subscribers who want to walk alongside me in a deeper, more personal way.
If that sounds like something you’d enjoy — a quiet space where I share what I’m discovering as I go, you’re welcome to join me. No pressure. No urgency. Just an open door.
The first installment of The Traveler’s Path is coming soon, and I’m excited (and a little nervous) to begin this new chapter with you.
Thank you for being here, truly.
It means more than you know.
—Terri
P.S.- On Sunday, I’ll be sharing the first Traveler’s Path reflection — for anyone who’s ever reached a milestone quietly and realized they weren’t finished yet.
